About Us

Our History

Real Life Mathematics Initiatives was founded with a simple yet powerful vision: to use mathematics as a tool for peace-building, personal development, and social transformation.

The journey began in 2019, when mathematics was often seen as a source of conflict between learners and learning. By introducing innovative approaches such as math songs, poems, and drama, we broke traditional barriers and showed students that mathematics could be creative, fun, and life-changing.

Building on this success, the Initiative expanded into advocacy and community engagement. Projects such as Math Against Gender-Based Violence, Harmony Through Math for Peace,  and Celebrating Teachers’ Excellence connected mathematics to pressing societal challenges. Along the way, we donated over 600 books to schools, empowered teachers through recognition, and amplified our message across television, radio, and community events.

Today, Real Life Mathematics Initiatives stands as a movement proving that mathematics is more than numbers and formulas. It is a language of unity, a bridge to critical thinking, and a tool for shaping responsible citizens who will build a peaceful and sustainable future.
